The location is spectacular, surrounded
by a magnificent 27-hole ecological championship golf course and vast
landscaped gardens and with a UNESCO nature reserve next door. The
historic city of Murcia is 10 minutes away, the Costa Calida’s
unspoilt beaches are within half an hour’s drive and Alicante
airport is only 80km north.
The ethos of Mosa Trajectum is to create an ecologically-friendly
but highly luxurious residential and sports resort in an area of great
natural beauty. So only 9% of the 3.6 million square metres of available
land will be built on. |
 |
| Luxury villas and mansions
Mosa Trajectum offers 14 types of villas, from 2-6 bedrooms and
1-5 bathrooms, built on plots ranging from 400m2 to 4,000m2. Prices
start at 320,000 euros though the lower priced villas have sold
quickly.
All combine a Spanish architectural style with Northern European
construction quality – designed for semi-permanent or year-round
living, not just for holiday stays. And all come with a private
10x5m swimming pool and endless views of the immaculate fairway
and mountains. Most of the villas have frontline golf locations.
|
 |
| The villas, named after
great Spanish artists Picasso, Goya, Murillo, Dali and Sorolla Villas
- vary in size, finish and customisation so that you can enjoy the
feeling of a bespoke home and request such additional comforts as
underfloor heating or a Jacuzzi in the main bathroom. You can choose
your own kitchen, bathroom fixtures and tiling throughout the house,
all supplied by Villeroy & Boch.
All villas have large windows to flood your home with Murcian sunshine.
They also come with spacious fitted wardrobes, reverse-cycle air
conditioning and double glazing. Ground floor windows are fitted
with electric security shutters. |

Each home comes equipped
with TV and telephone connections in the living room and bedrooms,
an alarm system connected to the 24-hour security company at the
entrance of the resort, a video entry phone and pre-installed fibre
optic cables.
The off-plan luxury mansions start at 600,000 euros and rise to
4.5 million euros. Plots run up to 4,000m2 and all have spectacular
views of the fairways and mountains.
Other property types
Further property types are also being developed, including cosy
studios, spacious penthouses and mansions.
The apartments, surrounded by botanical gardens with large swimming
pools and other facilities nearby, have views of the golf course
and start at 250,000 euros for 80m2 build, including an 18m2 terrace.
For around 500,000 euros you can get apartments which are 155m2
build with huge 30-40m2 terraces.
The lower price 55m2 apartments have already all sold.
There is a great deal of flexibility when choosing the style of
your apartment or penthouse, from the number of bathrooms and bedrooms
to the exact specifications.
Condominiums are aimed at long-term property investors who want
to maximise their returns with minimum hassle. The condos are in
blocks within an enclosed and fully-served environment. The minimum
investment is 250,000 euros. |

The Resort
Former professional footballer Johan Cruyff has set up a sports
centre at Mosa Trajectum which offers top-notch facilities and training
for residents and for budding and already-established international
athletes.
There will be an Olympic-sized swimming pool, football academy,
golf academy (with high-tech video and swing analysis equipment),
a professional tennis academy with different playing surfaces, basketball
courts, gymnastic facilities, athletics track – and Olympic
coaches and trainers in all disciplines on tap. There will also
be a medical and injury prevention clinic, all designed to attract
top athletes to the resort.
All home-owners at Mosa Trajectum will have full use of the sports
centre, which is entirely disabled-friendly.
The Mosa Trajectum resort also makes sure you enjoy and take care
of your home with the help of high-tech services such as a personal
concierge, a tee-booking and restaurant-booking service, landscape
gardening or grocery shopping.
Built on land steeped in history – as far back, it seems,
as the Middle Ages when a pilgrim took refuge here in a cave –
Mosa Trajectum has at its heart a 300-year-old Parador-style hotel
which has been beautifully converted into a cosy guests lodge and
restaurant, amid fountains, ponds, manicured lawns and palm-lined
streets. There will soon be a five-star hotel on site, plus shopping
areas, supermarkets, banks, medical clinics, children’s play
area, international private school and kindergarten. |

The golf
Mosa Trajectum boasts the first entirely ecological golf course
in Spain, designed to minimise water consumption and preserve the
environment with an 8 million euro water recycling plant. All fairways
drain into the lakes, no pesticides or fertilisers are used and
special foam has been laid under all 27 fairways, tees, greens and
rough to soak up water and act as a natural fertiliser for the grass.
With 27 championship holes, you can play three separate 18 hole,
par 72 courses. There is also a nine-hole par 3 Challenge Course,
set up for competitions held by the Federation. The terrain is varied
throughout, with thousands of palm trees, stone river beds, some
wild terrain, a links course, olive trees and pine trees.
The Golf Academy offers group or individual lessons on a 300m driving
range. There is also a putting green, pitching green, practice bunker,
electric buggies, club rental and everything you can imagine to
keep a golfer in heaven for his/her entire stay.
