ALMERIA AIRPORT
Last year, over 1.2 million visitors came through the gates of Almeria Airport (LEI) on a total of 20,139 flights, making it one of the up and coming Spanish airports. Set over three floors, this small but well-maintained airport is useful for reaching resorts on the Costa del Sol and Costa Calida such as Aguadulce, Almerimar, Garrucha, Mojacur, Vera and of course Almeria.
It is found about 10km outside the city centre and can be accessed from the Autovia del Mediterranoe, A7, via the N340. Inside the terminal are a duty free shop and two cafés, one on the ground floor and an open-air one on the upper level.

The Almeria Airport departure hall is also on the ground floor and has 17 check-in desks. The waiting area and 5 boarding gates are located on the basement level.

ALMERIA AIRPORT TAXIS
The taxi rank is located outside the arrivals hall. The tariffs for various journeys are approximately €18 into Almeria, €48 into Aguadulce, €30 into Cabo de Gata €75 into El Ejido €112 into Mojacar and €52 into Roquetas de Mar.
For bigger groups it may be more cost and time effective to book a private transfer where your driver will meet you in arrivals.

ALMERIA AIRPORT CAR HIRE
There are six main car hire companies at Almeria Airport based inside or close by. These are Centauro, Crown Car Hire, Europa, Goldcar, Rucar and Solmar .
ALMERIA AIRPORT BUSES
Buses pick up from just outside the terminal and leave every 50 minutes during the week, every half hour at weekends. There are no trains from here.

ALMERIA AIRPORT PARKING
The car park is very small with space for just 319 cars. It is situated directly in front of the terminal and costs €0.42 for the first half hour, €0.52 for the next half and then €0.96 for each subsequent hour after that. Per day it is €10.45 for the first four days, after which it is €8.35 per day.
